Cuba 2014
We were part of a group of 12 that went to Cuba in late January 2014 on a bird and butterfly trip organised and led by Josele Saiz who founded the Boletas Birdwatching Centre based in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Ghana 2016
We used a local company, Ashanti African Tours, for a trip to Ghana which had a strong emphasis on butterflies but also took in the birds and other wildlife including the must-see Yellow-headed Picathartes.
France 2017
This was a trip to the Vercors region of France in June/July 2017 with a group of friends from the Bedfordshire Natural History Society. It was organised by ‘Wildlife Travel’ which is associated with the Wildlife Trusts.
India 2017
We arranged a ‘tailor made’ Naturetrek trip to India in March 2017, visiting Pench and Kanha National Parks in Madhya Pradesh
Ecuador 2017
This exclusive, three week trip in October/November 2017 was arranged for us by Richard Parsons of Bellavista Cloud Forest Lodge in Ecuador. Our guide for the entire trip was Gustavo Canas.
Bosnia-Herzegovina 2019
We went to Bosnia-Herzegovina with a group of friends from the Bedfordshire Natural History Society. The trip was organised and led by Denis Bohm of ‘Wild Herzegovina’.
Canada 2015
We visited Churchill in Canada in November 2015 to see the Polar Bears gathering in autumn in anticipation of the sea ice forming. The trip was arranged by the American company “Natural Habitat Adventures”
Falklands Islands 2018
This trip was organised by the Scotland-based company “Island Holidays” which is run by Libby Weir-Breen who accompanied us on the trip.
Costa Rica 2019
We went to Costa Rica in April 2019, joining the first trip to this destination organised by Steve and Sarah Sankey of “Orcadian Wildlife”
