In January 2020 we went with our friends Mike Bird and Colleen Welfare to India, starting in Assam where we met up with Abid, who had guided Mike on two previous trips to India. In Assam we visited Nameri and Kaziranga National Parks and made brief excursions into Panbari Forest Reserve and the Hoollangapar Gibbon Sanctuary. We then flew to Madhya Pradesh via Kolkata to search for tigers in Kanha National Park before finishing our trip with a couple of days in Satpura National Park.
