A trip with a group of friends from the Bedfordshire Natural History Society and arranged through ‘Wildlife Travel’, whose profits benefit the Wildlife Trusts in the UK. For the first four days we were accompanied by Paul Precey of Wildlife Travel and stayed in the Hotel Haj, an excellent, family run hotel in Nova Lhota, Czechia. We then transferred to a state run hotel in the Aggtalek National Park in Hungary, driving across Slovakia. During the week we visited a range of wildlife sites in the three countries, excellently led by local Czech guide Martin Hrouzek.
