This wildlife tour to Namibia in November 2024 was a Naturetrek trip and was led by two excellent guides, Andrew and Hano, provided by local tour company Safari Wise. We spent our first night at the Daan Viljoen Reserve near Windhoek before travelling to the Namib desert, staying at Sesriem and visiting the spectacular dunes at Sossusvlei. We moved on to Swakopmund and took a boat trip off the coast at Walvis Bay. Moving north along the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross then inland to Damaraland where we visited ancient bushman rock carvings at Twyfelfontein and found desert elephants in the Huab River Valley. After several days in Etosha National Park we ended the trip at Okonjima Nature Reserve owned by the Africat Foundation.
