Together with 2 other couples we joined the Sankey family (Steve, Sarah & Sami), who run “Orcadian Wildlife”, for their first official tour to Costa Rica. We started our trip at Arenal Observatory Lodge,with great views of Arenal Volcano from our room balcony. We moved on to the excellent, family-run Rancho Naturalista followed by the Savegre Valley hotel. We then spent a couple of days at the Punta Leona holiday resort on the Pacific coast before moving to our final destination, Natural Lodge, at Cano Negro close to the border with Nicaragua.
